WME's Strategy
In the last blog article, I talked about WME's Big Picture. I discussed our Mission, Vision, and Goal. However, no goal is reached by just having a goal. There must be a process and action steps by which a goal is pursued. So in this post I want to talk about our strategy.
Strategy: The strategy of WME is CPM.
Having said that, the definition of our strategy could be as broad as everything in every blog article that ever has or ever will be posted here. But to narrow it down a bit, we are focusing on a specific church planting movement project in Western Honduras, Central America. Our plan involves training and deploying church planters into village areas that currently have no adequate gospel witness. Hundreds of such places exist in our target field. Through access ministries relationships are developed. When persons of peace are identified, discovery Bible studies are begun. Through these studies and relationships people are discipled to become obedient followers of Jesus Christ. And when they are baptized a church is planted. As the process goes forward new leaders are trained and sent to other places to replicate the process. Prayer is fundamental to the success of this work. And obedience to the Word of God is critical, both in the lives of the church planters and the new disciples.
Beyond the specific project that we are currently involved with, we hope to see this become a seedbed for others in Honduras, Latin America, and Worldwide to catch the vision and take the process to other places.
This strategy has produced great fruit in India and now in Africa. We believe that we will see such fruit in Central America as well.
