Project Indonesia Moving Forward in 2011

Our project targeting a specific unreached people is getting ready to move forward this year. Our Missionary, Troy Allen (Pseudonym for security purposes) is planning first steps this year. Here is a recent update from Troy on our status in launching the project with this people. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Hello to all my friends and family, Thank you so much for your support of helping advance the kingdom at the edges. (Due to security concerns, I do not use my full name, agency identifiers, people group names or specific locations.) I am excited to be writing my first update letter. There is much to catch you up on. I transitioned from owner/operator of a Paint contracting company to full-time mission preparation. YAY! This marks the first time in my life to live solely on an income of personal donations, and that’s an adventure. Thank you for your support, prayers and generous gifts. News: Recently graduated with my Masters degree in Cross-Cultural Studies from Fuller Theological Semi

First Steps in 2011

January has been a very busy month. In the January 2 blog, I called 2011 the year of Moving Forward, and if this month is any indication, it certainly is that kind of year. In fact, I have been "moving" so much that I am only now getting to this blog report. When I returned home, I decided to do just that and for 1996 announced a theme, which we called the Year of Faith. Although not set in stone, it seemed that as I would think and pray about this each year, the Lord would give me a theme to declare each year. I have not done that since I left pastoring, of course, but as last year drew to a close, some words and phrases seemed to come to my attention again and again, and so, for what it's
