A STAR is Born.
As we come toward the end of the year 2016, WME is happy to announce that:
A NEW STAR IS BORN
What do we mean by that? Well for the last several years, in addition to being a missions sending agency that has missionaries and projects on every continent except Antarctica, WME has been focused on the Church Planting Movement/Disciple Making Movement Strategy. Since 2008, WME launched a CPM/DMM project in Latin America and over time adopted the name INSTAR for the Latin American/Caribbean project. INSTAR is currently set to see approximately 5,000 groups and churches as a result by the end of 2016!
We chose the Word INSTAR to talk about the project in Latin America for 2 reasons:
First and primarily: INSTAR is an acrostic that explains the WME strategy to Catalyze Movements:
I Stands for Intercession and Identification. Prayer and identifying unreached peoples and regions.
N Stands for Networking. WME focuses on developing indigenous partnerships with local leaders.
S Stands for Serving. WME serves needs of people, communities and ministries.
T Stands for Training. WME conducts training events and mentors people in the DMM strategy.
A Stands for Assisting. WME continues to mentor and help those that implement DMM strategy.
R Stands for Reporting. WME tracks the results to see where movements are happening.
Second, we discovered that the word INSTAR means "to urge" or "to be urgent" in Spanish. And completing the Great Commission is the most Urgent thing we know.
Thousands are being discipled and baptized in the INSTAR project. We continue to emphasize the INSTAR project as the pilot project of DMM for World Missions and Evangelism.
But the big news we want to share right now is that WME is launching a new DMM project that is focused on Southeast Asia. It is primarily focused (at this time) on the Indonesia region, and primarily focused on Islamic Unreached People Groups. The countries of South East Asia are the Focal point, THUS the SEA (South East Asia) part of the new project....It is INSTAR for South East Asia....THUS....SEASTAR!
So SEASTAR...A New STAR has been born. The first SEASTAR training event is November 22-26 in an undisclosed location because of Security. With SEASTAR we won't be able to post as much information and pictures as we do with INSTAR because of Security concerns. Nevertheless, this is a new and exciting move forward in taking the Gospel to All Peoples. We will report what we can safely do online.
So the end of 2016 is here! But WME is still working hard, conducting the last training events of this very eventful year. Here are some prayer requests for 2 upcoming INSTAR, and 2 upcoming SEASTAR training events for equipping disciple makers!

Please Pray for Several Upcoming Disciple Making Movement Trainings between now and the End of this Year. Even though the year is almost over, WME is continuing to train in various areas!
1. This Weekend and Next Week: David Fackler will be sharing DMM principles at a Key church in Barbados. Several churches will be represented. This is part of INSTAR (Latin American/Caribbean project)
2. Next Week, Nov 22-26: The First SEASTAR DMM training in Southeast Asia. Location and details private because of security reasons in predominantly Islamic region. SEASTAR is the new WME project to catalyze multiple movements in South east Asia.
3. December: SEASTAR Training # 2
WME's Strategy Coordinator for Southeast Asia will be flying to a different country for our first training in a new region.

4. December: INSTAR Training in Argentina specifically for the Wichi Tribe. Damian and Shellie Praniuk will be traveling to lead this training along with WME's Argentina Coordinators Oscar and Edith Praniuk. The translation of the Megavoice studies into the Wichi language was completed in October.
Pray for these 4 trainings that the people who receive the training will step forward with God's vision for their region and people groups and that because of these things, People will become obedient disciples that make disciples that make disciples....resulting in groups planting groups and churches planting churches until the Great Commission is fulfilled in these regions and peoples. Pray for health, protection, and traveling mercies for all trainers and everyone involved in the trainings. (Psalm 91)
