Continuing to Seize Moments and Opportunities in 2021
WME's Theme for this year has been, " The Year of Seizing the Moment!"
And that is just what we have been doing! God has been giving us moments to Seize for training, mentoring and coaching of disciple makers and trainers and visionaries for Kingdom of God Advance!
Now that we are in the last third of this year, we can look back and see the moments that God has given. The work in the main project in Honduras has continued to advance, even in the midst of challenges that this Covid plagued world has handed to us. People continue to be trained and groups continue to be started. Disciples continue to obey Christ and thousands continue to make commitments to Christ and be baptized. This year, it seems that any momentum that was slowed during 2020 has come back up and that multiplication is getting back toward Pre Covid levels!
Not without hardships. Our team recently sent 3 trainers into a specific Jungle region where we had not trained before. Unbeknownst to us, a Covid outbreak had just hit that region. It was a great training, but 13 students and 2 of our trainers were infected with Covid. Please pray for a total and quick recovery for them, as well as other leaders in the Honduras project that are battling Covid. In spite of the fact that it has been dangerous, our workers are continuing to move forward in training, coaching, discipling, planting, and baptizing!
In Argentina, Damian Praniuk just returned from a visit to the Missionary training school there. 20 students are preparing for missional work through the DMM strategy there. Plans are moving forward to Engage 2 different Unengaged Unreached People Groups beginning in January! We are so excited about that and the fact that Damian is training and coaching a missionary family from Argentina to go to Italy to do disciple making in a region with 0 evangelical churches. It is amazing how the seed of the word of God is spreading.....From Honduras to Argentina to Italy!
Our Native American Team recently returned from introducing the DMM strategy to the Lakota Tribe. This was an introduction meeting with hopefully full trainings to follow. Doors are open for training in the Navajo nation and as soon as possible to key tribes in Alaska. God is opening doors of relationship that we will follow to see all the UPG Native American Tribes engaged with the Gospel!
In the Caribbean, Travel restrictions have limited some direct training, but online coaching and training has continued and work is beginning there. There are some Big Seize the Moment opportunities coming up soon in that region.
Through other linked DMM work, doors are opening for WME to help to get Bibles to workers in Pakistan! New DMM partners have become a part of this Global Strategy that are focused on a specific Muslim People Group that is in the United States. A New Team of WME Missionaries are laying strategic plans as they have moved into a Restricted Access Country......A very dangerous place, where believers are persecuted and imprisoned and tortured. No information beyond that can be shared for security reasons.....But please pray as the INSTAR project has truly become a GLOBAL project and focused on the Remaining Unreached People Groups in our world!
God is doing this work Himself. It seems that He is building a Key Strategic Team into this ministry. We see His hand as He is doing this. WME began in 1988 as a ministry of Helps for one Missionary in Honduras. In 2000, we began to focus on Church Planting. In 2008, WME began, through Randy and Linda Travis and Keith and Juanita Travis, to train and catalyze a Disciple Making Movement in 1 country, Honduras. That small beginning in DMM strategy has resulted in over 60,000 professions and baptisms, in a movement 32 Generations Deep, in Thousands and Thousands and Thousands of churches and groups, and has now grown into this total Project we call INSTAR that is now touching the World!
Your prayers and faithful financial support is continuing to bear fruit in the salvation of multiplied thousands and in some of the least reached places with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you so much and please pray diligently for all of these things that we have shared in this article!
Yours for the Completion of the Great Commission in THIS GENERATION!

Even so Come Lord Jesus!!!!
