Acts 4 and beyond.
Now what were the results of this year? 2020 was definitely not what any of us were expecting! We had no idea that the world would be subjected to a Covid Pandemic. Many of our training plans were curtailed as travel and certain doors closed. It was a difficult year for many of our missionaries and team members. We had people in our spiritual family that went home to be with the Lord. Some of our Honduran leaders had tragedies in their families with people that lost their lives to violence. Some of our WME missionaries experienced Covid (thanks to God that they have all survived). Others of our WME family battled serious sicknesses. In Honduras, a serious lockdown because of Covid led to food shortages in the villages. In the fall of the year, Honduras was hit by 2 devastating Hurricanes.
But God!
In spite of all these challenges, God's Vision was realized in amazing ways. God did bring us into a New Season of Opportunity.
In the First Quarter of 2020, we launched our new prayer website:
www.instarprayer.org. We launched a new book on prayer for Missions. We focused on the Word of God and Prayer in an Intensive way, just as the Lord had shown us to do!
In the 2nd Quarter of the Year we saw it become the Year of the Open Heaven for Resources. We had begun the year with a serious financial deficit. And then the shutdown hit. How was God going to fulfill His leading to us that it would be a Year of the Open Heaven? By early April we had a 51,000 plus deficit! But God! Somehow through the wisdom God gave us and through the faithfulness of God's people and God Himself.....the deficit was completely wiped out by the fall and had become and remains a surplus! We are ending this year, 2020, as the best financial year in the History of WME!!!! Praise God!!!!
In the 3rd Quarter of the Year we entered into the Season of the Open Door! At the beginning of the year when I shared this part with people I told them the Open Door was not a Golden Door. I took them to Acts 3 and said the Open Door to Preaching to the Jewish National leaders for Peter was a lame man who was begging. I said, look for the needs as the open door. The Village Hunger and the Hurricanes became our new open door in Honduras. Almost 20,000 dollars was raised to feed the hungry, bring them Covid Hygiene supplies and some Hurricane relief. About 1,000 families were fed for weeks! If our supplies were calculated as 3 meals per day per person impacted over the weeks it has reached nearly a Quarter of a Million Meals!!!! Doors for presenting the Gospel and opening New Discovery Bible Studies burst open as God has miraculously touched people!
This leads to the end of the year. We do not have all of our years reports in yet, but so far altogether approximately 2,000 New Bible Studies and Churches have been birthed since January. Actually that number is from January through September......we still don't have numbers from the 4th Quarter calculated. Argentina was a part of this as well, where our number of groups more than Doubled!!!!! That is Unleashed Multiplication, even though we have had other years with even higher numbers, consider this advance in 2020 with lockdowns and restrictions! In those 9 months, in Honduras approximately 8,000 people professed faith in Christ and were Baptized!!!!!
Hallelujah! Only God could have done this in this Year!
And now we come to the end of 2020: What do we envision going forward? Again we have prayed and our team has shared together. We have come up with what we believe is a Theme for WME in this New Year of 2021.
2021: The Year of Seizing the Moment
While none of us professes to know what is going to happen in the world at large this New Year, Here is what we believe the Lord wants us to prepare for.
We believe that:
2021 will be a year where doors that have been shut will be opened little by little. Countries, Regions and Nations will slowly return to at least a little more normal function as the Covid 19 Plague is brought under control. As this happens, opportunities to move forward with training and facilitating Kingdom Movements will begin to open up. As they do, WME will be poised to SEIZE THE MOMENT in each area where God gives us opportunity and capacity. As this happens we will move forward to fully engage the Regions of 1. Native American Tribes in United States and Canada, 2. Central America, 3. Caribbean, and 4. Southern South America.
3 Moves: 1. Areas return to Normal
2. Seize the opportunities as they arise
3. Engage full Strategic Plan for these Regions
This includes the special new initiative of launching a Training School in Argentina that will focus on bringing the DMM Strategy to Unreached People Groups in Southern South America. We plan to focus on 2 specific UPGs for gospel engagement.
Spiritual Considerations:
1. First Part of the Year will be about returning to normal. Use the Time wisely to do Preparation for the Quick moves once things are fully opened up. Emphasize Prayer and the Word.
2. Realize that the concept of Seizing has relationship to warfare. Read and Pray over Haggai 2:6-9
3. Year of Importunity (following 2020 Opportunity). This means Persistence and Primarily Audacity! Boldly Seize the Moments.

Please Be In Prayer for WME, the INSTAR Project and the 4 Regions of Special Focus. Pray that God will help us to Seize the Moments of Opportunities and that not only will the current levels of harvest continue, but that they would exponentially multiply!
