Making the most of the opportunity
Dear Friend of WME,
I hope that you are doing well during this time that we find ourselves in. I want to let you know that although this Pandemic has had such a terrible effect in our world, and the lockdowns and quarantines that are happening worldwide have created such disruptions in plans, God is continuing to work and progress is continuing to be made.
Our theme for WME for this year is : A New Season of Opportunity. Someone might ask is that still relevant in light of all that is going on?
My answer: It is ESPECIALLY RELEVANT right now and Precisely BECAUSE of the Pandemic and the Responses to it!
How so?
1. In Spite of all that is happening, WME's Prayer Warriors and Financial Supporters are faithfully praying and giving.
2. In Spite of travel restrictions and difficulties in continuing some planned training events, we are still hearing reports of new groups multiplying in both Honduras and Argentina. Although 3 Native American training events have had to be delayed, plans to reschedule and move forward as soon as the door opens are still moving forward. In Southeast Asia, the work is continuing to move forward as Muslims are engaged with the gospel.
3. Because of the global situation, our team focused on the Caribbean are beginning to do online teaching/training in creative ways that we believe will be fruit bearing.
4. Our prayer Website is Live!!!! Go to instarprayer.org and take advantage of all the resources there. There you will find a free online book, video, and research on Unreached People Groups in the Western Hemisphere. You can sign up to be a part of the Intercessory team for the INSTAR Project.

5. Some leaders connected to the movement are ministering to needy communities in the very poorest areas in Latin America. In Spite of the lockdown, special permission has been received so that they can carry food into some of the neediest villages.
6. This has been a time to pray, study, and strategize.....an opportunity to slow down enough to allow God to begin to open us to new larger vision that will open the days, months and years ahead to greater productivity for the Kingdom!
SO YES.....IT MAY SEEM LIKE A TIME OF RESTRICTION.....BUT IT IS ACTUALLY THE BEGINNING OF A NEW SEASON OF OPPORTUNITY!!!!
I pray for all of you that are part of this work through Prayer and Giving. I Pray that God will also give you new insight and direction for the days ahead. I pray that you and your family will be healed and protected from all disease. I pray that New Doors of Opportunity will soon appear in your path. I pray that you will be blessed from the Open Heaven of God's Abundance. And I pray that through you, God's Kingdom will continue to advance and multiply as God Uses you to bring Glory to Jesus Christ through New Disciples of Christ that come to Him!
