GREAT REPORTS FOR 2019










We are praising God for a wonderful report in the 4th Quarter of 2019 for the INSTAR Project!  In this blog post, I am going to list our statistics for both the last 3 months of the year, and give the amazing totals for the Year of 2019.  We called it the Year of Unmeasurable Favor and it surely was a great year of the Favor and Grace of God!

4th Quarter 2019 Statistics (October - December)
We are currently at 26 Generations deep in the movement!
568 new groups were birthed!
2,319 people began attending the groups and churches
3,704 people made professors of faith to Christ (41 per day!!!)
3,684 people were baptized! (41 per day!!!)

The Total Statistics for 2019 are Amazing!!!

In 2019:
3,499 New Groups and Churches were birthed!!!
13,789 people began attending groups and churches!
14,795 people made professions of faith to Christ!!!!!
14,550 people were baptized!!!

 THIS MEANS THAT WELL OVER 2,000 MORE PEOPLE WERE SAVED AND BAPTIZED IN 2019 THAN THE PREVIOUS YEAR OF 2018!  THE MOVEMENT CONTINUES TO GROW!


We rejoice in the fact that throughout the movement since 2008, 54,781 people have made professions of faith!  And during that time, 50,880 people have been baptized.

Thank God for this amazing multiplication in this movement.  During this time people have been trained in Disciple Making Movement Strategy in the Caribbean (Puerto Rico, Barbados, Jamaica, and Aruba), and in North America (Native American tribes, and churches in the USA), and in South America (Trainings in Argentina, effecting people from Brazil, Bolivia, an Chile), and Mostly in Central America (Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Mexico).  Our megavoice studies are now in Spanish, English, Wichi, and Gurani.  People are being impacted in at least 5 tribal groups! Many people are key leaders in this work. We appreciate all the Prayer warriors and Financial partners that make it all possible. All of WME's missionaries, and the whole INSTAR team are key to what God is doing!

As the President of WME it has been my privilege to work with the founding team of the INSTAR project in Honduras since the Lord gave the vision in the year 2006.  Over the years God added several others to the team that we call the VISION Team in Honduras.  The full Strategic and Vision Team for Honduras is Randy and Linda Travis, Keith and Juanita Travis, Adiel Ponce, Daniel and María de Ortega, Jacobo and María de Hernandez, Oscar and María de Hernandez,  Carlos Andrade, Mario and Tesla de Mejía, Rigoberto and Rosa de Colindres. We all covet your prayers as we continue to move forward in the work of God!

The Holy Spirit and Disciple Making Movements

Recently at the Disciple Making Movement leadership meeting in California, one of the main topics that we focused on was the Role of the Holy Spirit.  A key leader from West Africa led the discussion of this topic.  I remember being especially challenged by this study and by interactions with this leader.  He is a special friend who I have known since 2006, and his influence has touched me greatly.  In the last few weeks since the meeting, I have reflected, prayed, and begun to seek the influence of the Holy Spirit more than I had been doing in recent years.  Now I want to share some reflections on the role of the Holy Spirit in Disciple Making Movements (which may or may not reflect the discussions we had in California).  Regardless of where one stands theologically, it cannot be denied that those who focus attention on the Holy Spirit's activity have seen the launching of some of the largest "Movements" in the history of the Church.  Think of the Pentecostal/Charism

Non-Cessationist Sola Scriptura: The Theology of CPM

I believe in a theological position that I call Non-Cessationist Sola Scriptura. Sola Scriptura refers to the Reformation doctrine that means "Scripture Alone" and that asserts that the Bible alone, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, are the only inspired Word of God and that they are the sole authority for God's people, flawlessly communicating God's will to mankind.
