Motorcycles and Megavoices

I literally stand amazed at all that God is doing in multiplying His Kingdom and saving thousands of souls in the INSTAR project in Latin America.  

Just think about these facts:
ON AVERAGE
There are more than 6 new Discovery Bible Studies starting EVERY DAY!
There are 12 or more people accepting Salvation and being Water Baptized  EVERY DAY!

Since January about 200 new groups are starting each month.  By the end of last year 11,345 people had professed faith since the start of this outreach! Altogether there are about 3,400 Groups and Churches as a result of this project!


RIGHT NOW
Our training for disciple makers and church planters is being put in Video format for DVDs so that the training can be spread exponentially throughout Latin America.

Our Megavoice Bible Studies (currently only in Spanish) are being or are preparing to be translated into English, French, Portuguese, and the Wichi Native language.

We are scheduled to do Training Events in Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, West Virginia, and Cincinatti!  Training Events have already happened since the beginning of 2016 in Honduras, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

Groups are beginning in Puerto Rico, which  we think will become in the coming years a key place for the multiplication of Disciple Making throughout other places in Latin America.

Relief Work is planned for this summer to help with the Ecuador Earthquake....where some of our groups are affected.

New Doors are opening for training disciple makers!  Our heads are spinning with the Opportunities!  
Angels are rejoicing about every soul that comes to the Lord!


REAL NEEDS

The WME team in Honduras has 2 big needs right now:

Motorcycles:  Our training, church planting, disciple making, mentoring team needs 6 new motorcycles.  The motorcycles are needed in order to help the team travel into hard places to carry the gospel and the mentoring of new believers and groups.  Our current motorcycles (except for 1) are 8 years old and literally worn out.  We need 2,000 dollars per cycle (or 12,000 dollars total).  The need is very real.  

Megavoice audio machines:  About a year's worth of Discipling Bible Studies are on these small, but loud, audio players.  These machines are helping to facilitate the Bible Studies in communities and villages that are seeing the great harvest of souls we are seeing.  It costs about 35 dollars per machine by the time they are purchased, loaded and equipped with needed chargers and transmitted to the areas of need.  35 dollars to facilitate a new Bible study with unbelievers.  We need at least 1,000 of these by the end of this year we estimate....that is a need of 35,000 dollars.  We need about 15,000 dollars immediately for the Megavoice outreach.

The Holy Spirit and Disciple Making Movements

Recently at the Disciple Making Movement leadership meeting in California, one of the main topics that we focused on was the Role of the Holy Spirit.  A key leader from West Africa led the discussion of this topic.  I remember being especially challenged by this study and by interactions with this leader.  He is a special friend who I have known since 2006, and his influence has touched me greatly.  In the last few weeks since the meeting, I have reflected, prayed, and begun to seek the influence of the Holy Spirit more than I had been doing in recent years.  Now I want to share some reflections on the role of the Holy Spirit in Disciple Making Movements (which may or may not reflect the discussions we had in California).  Regardless of where one stands theologically, it cannot be denied that those who focus attention on the Holy Spirit's activity have seen the launching of some of the largest "Movements" in the history of the Church.  Think of the Pentecostal/Charism

Non-Cessationist Sola Scriptura: The Theology of CPM

I believe in a theological position that I call Non-Cessationist Sola Scriptura. Sola Scriptura refers to the Reformation doctrine that means "Scripture Alone" and that asserts that the Bible alone, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, are the only inspired Word of God and that they are the sole authority for God's people, flawlessly communicating God's will to mankind.
