The Story of the INSTAR Movement: How a Disciple Making Movement began in Latin America.

In 2008, when I started this blog, I wrote a timeline of the launch of the project.  In November 2011, I expanded that report greatly to bring the story of the HCPM work up to date.  Now I am reproducing that blog here and have edited it to bring it forward to the present and also to edit it based on new information. Breakthrough is happening, but here is a story of the road to breakthrough and the path of multiplication since breakthrough. God is doing a wonderful work, and any progress is only to His glory and power. We have done a lot of trial and error in the last few years, but the Lord of the harvest has been working His plan all along, through, with and sometimes in spite of us! Here is a timeline of what has been done in this project. September 2006: David Parish and Randy Travis take intensive training in C.P.M. principles from David Watson in Dallas. The H.C.P.M. concept is born. October 2006: Randy does research on C.P.M. principles. November-December 2006: Ran...

2016: The Year Of The Vision

Each year, as the current year ends and the New Year approaches, I try to spend time hearing from the Holy Spirit an emphasis for the coming year.  This year it was while I was in Mexico with the Amigos de Fe ministry and in the week after returning to the U. S. from there, that I believe I heard a special direction from the Lord for the coming year of 2016.  This word, this theme, this emphasis will direct the prayers, work, strategy, and energy of WME during this New Year. I believe that the word "VISION" was emphasized to me as a focal point for 2016.  So for World Missions and Evangelism, and especially for our INSTAR project in Latin America, I am calling this New Year "The Year of The Vision". While I was in Mexico with the Amigos de Fe ministry, led by Denzil and Rebeca Hood, longtime friends of mine, the seed was planted.  Brother Denzil spoke to me several times about the vision that their ministry had, and I sensed that it was the very same vision that...

The End of a Great Year

The year of 2015 has been an amazing year for World Missions and Evangelism.  Not only has the work on the field been blessed in amazing ways, this has been a year of new heights for the Ministry as a whole.  God has opened new doors (that we will be going through in the New Year) and we are excited about all that He has done! There has been amazing increase in the INSTAR project this year.  When we ended last year, I wrote the following in our blog: An increasing Harvest of souls in the INSTAR (Latin American Church Planting Movement) Project.  In the Last 12 months 432 new Groups and Churches have been multiplied!  Total 859 Groups and Churches!  8,163 people are a part of these Groups and Churches.  In the last year, 1,423 have accepted Christ and 1,839 have been baptized.  Those statistics were up through the 3rd quarter of 2014. Now we are just putting the finishing touches on the 3rd quarter report for 2015....what has happened in...
