2015: Year of a New Level

I believe that The Lord has shown me that 2015 is the Year of a New Level.

We recently moved into a new house. My study is now on the 3rd floor. One thing I missed about our old house was my study/prayer room on the 2nd floor....a place where God had spoken many things to me.

On December 26, The Lord spoke to me on the 3rd floor of the new house that he had brought me to a new level to see further.

In Revelation 4:1 God took John UP HIGHER to give him revelation.....in the previous 2 chapters Christ was dealing with the present issues in John's churches, but now from the Higher Level, John got revelation on God's plan for the entire rest of history.

I believe that 2015, for some, will be that kind of year. In this year we will be moved by God to a new level of thinking, understanding, insight, and impact for the Kingdom of God. 

 The INSTAR Project in Latin America is poised for incredible breakthrough in the coming year. Almost beyond belief, in this year of 2014 that is coming to a close, nearly 800 new groups and churches were multiplied. We began the year with 453 groups and are ending with approximately 1,235 groups and churches! A harvest has begun and we are looking forward to breakthroughs in Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Ecuador, and especially Argentina in the new year.
But we are not limiting God to this. We are getting ready to follow The Lord wherever He leads, believing that it really is a year of a New Level in 2015. Thanks for being a part of it in prayer and giving!

Focus on Jesus and prepare to move to the New Level in 2015!

The Holy Spirit and Disciple Making Movements

Recently at the Disciple Making Movement leadership meeting in California, one of the main topics that we focused on was the Role of the Holy Spirit.  A key leader from West Africa led the discussion of this topic.  I remember being especially challenged by this study and by interactions with this leader.  He is a special friend who I have known since 2006, and his influence has touched me greatly.  In the last few weeks since the meeting, I have reflected, prayed, and begun to seek the influence of the Holy Spirit more than I had been doing in recent years.  Now I want to share some reflections on the role of the Holy Spirit in Disciple Making Movements (which may or may not reflect the discussions we had in California).  Regardless of where one stands theologically, it cannot be denied that those who focus attention on the Holy Spirit's activity have seen the launching of some of the largest "Movements" in the history of the Church.  Think of the Pentecostal/Charism

Non-Cessationist Sola Scriptura: The Theology of CPM

I believe in a theological position that I call Non-Cessationist Sola Scriptura. Sola Scriptura refers to the Reformation doctrine that means "Scripture Alone" and that asserts that the Bible alone, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, are the only inspired Word of God and that they are the sole authority for God's people, flawlessly communicating God's will to mankind.
