Busy Summer

Exciting things continue to happen with the ministry of World Missions and Evangelism.  We are entering into the time of "Busy Summer".  Each summer time (May-August) for the last few years have been times of key travels and meetings in helping the Latin American Disciple Making Movement and other aspects of WME ministry to move forward.  This summer has already started out the same, and promises to be a time of many contacts, meetings, and trainings.  Please pray for us as we travel and make connections this season.  Pray that through all we do and all we meet and all we learn, that the Kingdom of God will advance around the world.

The Travis families, our strategy coordinators for the Latin American project (previously the Honduras CPM project, but as open doors are now exploding we are beginning to call it the Latin American Project),are in the US and are involved in preaching and making new contacts for the support of the work.  Also, this month, our WME missionaries focused on Muslim evangelism in the Indonesian region and our WME missionaries in Botswana, in Africa, received CPM/DMM training.  Our prayers are that they will see amazing results in Exponential Disciple Making and Church Planting in days to come.

I will be traveling much of the next 2 months.  Planned trips include an excursion to Cincinnati, Ohio, and Louisville, Kentucky, to meet with pastors and missions leaders and to share the DMM/CPM vision and strategy.  That will be followed by a trip to San Jose, California to meet with Disciple Making Movement leaders from around the world.  Then it is up to Chicago to attend the Full Gospel Fellowship Annual Leadership conference and promote the movement there.

Meanwhile in Honduras, training is continuing and increasing as new leaders for new churches and new potential church planters are trained.  Beto is conducting a 4 weekend training for 40 new potential church planters.  34 leaders are also being trained for church leadership.  The first week of July, our full time team will be doing a mini-training event in CPM principles for new potential church planters.  Our Honduran team is "Flying Solo" in these trainings....no American Missionaries are conducting any part of these trainings.  These trainings are 100 percent indigenous, which is a very important thing.

Again, I ask that the blog readers pray for these travels, contacts, events and trainings.  Through it all may there be great Advance of the Gospel this summer!
