Redeeming the Time

I want to update all the readers of the WME blog about where we are in the Honduras cpm project. Hopefully you have been able to keep up with some of the news from Honduras. One of the most helpful places that I have found is the Bloomberg.com website. They are posting multiple articles each day (at least as of this posting) about the situation in Honduras. It is just one way of getting some news of the situation down there.

Randy and Linda Travis and their son Keith are in the U. S. Keith will be returning to Mexico in a few days. Randy and Linda will be coming up to the WME home office in Benton, Ky to work on some recording materials for use in our project. We will be producing some materials at a studio in Mayfield, Ky. Randy is working hard at his home in Alabama to produce the material that will be recorded for use in our project in Honduras. Randy will be with us the end of this month. Our goal is to use the time that they are out of the country of Honduras to do some work on materials to use in Honduras, thus redeeming the time. Our plan is for the Travis familes to return to Honduras as soon as possible after the work has been done.

I was at a conference in San Antonio last week and want to thank Pastor Kenneth Harbaum for helping to get several key pieces of equipment donated to our project. Randy will be able to take these things back with him when he returns.

Meanwhile, in Honduras, our church planting team of Honduran workers are continuing to work in village areas, looking for people of peace and endeavoring to begin new discovery Bible studies. Because of the travel problems that they have had, they are working in a different area than we have been. Thus, these circumstances may result in the gospel going into new areas, in which we were not previously working.

What we believe is that by the power of God and through your prayers, the difficult circumstances through which Honduras is passing will result in the advance of the gospel and more churches planted and souls saved, to the glory of God.

Thanks much for your prayers as the work moves forward in the Honduras Church Planting Movement project.
