Project 2030

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
-Matthew 24:14

Let me introduce a concept called "Project 2030." This is a time frame goal. The goal is to fulfil the basic requirement of Matthew 24:14 by the year 2030.

Why 2030?
There is a broad consensus that the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ took place in 30 AD. Also, of course, this was the year when He spoke the Great Commission, ascended to heaven and the Church was born at Pentecost. Thus, completing the task by 2030 would be finishing at exactly 2000 years following the commission and the giving of the Holy Spirit.

Can it be done?
The answer is: YES! With the work of the Holy Spirit.

Is there a strategy to initiate?
I suggest a UPG/CPM strategy. Focusing on Unreached People Groups and utilizing strategies that are birthing Church Planting Movements can be the strategy that achieves the goal.

The Power Of Multiplication
Look at the possibility. We begin with 10 church planters, committed to this goal. With CPM principles I believe that it can multiply 10 fold the first year and 2 fold every subsequent year.
Year One: 10 Churches
Year Two: 100 Churches
Year Five: 800 Churches
Year Ten: 25,600 Churches
Year Fifteen: 819,200 Churches
Year Twenty: 26,214,400 Churches
Year Twenty-Two: 104, 857,600 Churches!
This is a church for every 66.75 people, if the unreached population was 7 billion!
The point is, it is very possible! UPG's must be strategically targeted, but it can be done by an obedient Church in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Let's work together to see this happen.
2030 AD...
...Here We Come!
