World Missions and Evangelism is focused on equipping and enabling people worldwide to make disciples and multiply movements to Christ.  While focusing on Disciple making Movement strategy and Church Multiplication, WME and our affiliated missionaries and official projects engage in a number of key ministries that impact the lives of children, youth, and adults.  Here are some of the projects and ministries that make up World Missions and Evangelism, Inc. CHILDREN'S MINISTRY, EDUCATION, AND ORPHAN CARE: 1. CITY OF CHILDREN PROJECT:  Coordinator Michelle Garland leads this partnership with an orphanage in Guatemala.  “The City of Children” in Villa Nueva, Guatemala, about 30-45 minutes from Guatemala City. It is an orphanage of about 250 children ages 0-18 with backgrounds from everything imaginable. 2013 has been a year of new open doors and a surge forward in the Church Planting Movement Projects of World Missions and Evangelism.  We are getting reports of real advances in the regions where missionaries and leaders are implementing the CPM principles and where there has been much training this year.  Here are some of the things happening. Botswana, Africa:  Missionaries Michael and Heather Walker received training in the CPM strategy in mid and late 2012.  After returning to Botswana and working on translation of the DBS studies into the tribal language they are using, and after WME was able to provide Megavoice players for use in the studies, Michael began to share the strategy with key people.  There are now at least 35 Discovery Bible Studies  happening.....one elderly illiterate believer is discipling at least 100 persons using the Megavoices and DBS studies!   Since December, W.M.E. has done  several training events in Central America. Many new potential church planters have been trained and equipped to minister in many different areas of Central America. Church Planting Trainings December 2012: San Nicolas, Honduras January 2013: Palacios, Honduras March 2013:  El Salvador April 2013:  Tegucigalpa, Honduras May 2013:  Guatemala June 2013:  Danli, Honduras Altogether nearly 250 people have been trained in HCPM strategy for the first time. Since April, approximately 50 new Discovery Bible Studies have been started from the Tegucigalpa training alone! At this time, new doors are opening for training leaders in Nicaragua as well as a door opening for training for potential church planting in Afghanistan.   Every time that we train church planters, new doors open for the gospel to reach new people. We are living in the most exciting times in the history of the Church. The first 30 or so years of the Church are detailed in the Book of Acts. The story from Pentecost to Paul’s arrival in Rome is told in 28 brief chapters and spans from 30 A.D. to about 60 A.D. The book tells the story and also demonstrates the pattern of what the church is designed to be and do. I would contend that the last 20 years of Christian History have begun to match the excitement of those initial years. The kingdom of God has been expanding exponentially and we are just beginning to see the impact of this on our world.   Here are some highlights from the last 20 years of Kingdom expansion. In 1989, a missionary begins to focus on an almost totally unreached Megabloc of peoples in North India. In initial outreach, 6 native evangelists are brutally murdered.
